Description

The Village Lodge & Flashpackers is a unique concept for the informal traveller, with delightful private and family rooms, a private self catering unit and upmarket group accommodation for hikers on the Otter and Tsitsikamma trails. All accommodation is en suite  and the communal self catering facilities create a delightful atmosphere for guests. For those who prefer not to cook for themselves, enjoy the various eating out facilities just a short walk from the lodge gate.

The guest lounge has comfortable couches and chairs, fireplace and satellite TV. The farmhouse-style kitchen is fully equipped for self catering, or enjoy your meals al fresco in the large covered BBQ area,  with a well equipped cooking area, comfortable chairs and the ever popular pool table.

Storms River Village is 'adventure central', offering tree canopy tours, zip lining, black water tubing, horse riding and cycling plus the world's highest single span bungy. Enjoy hikes along the forest trails or the dramatic coast line at nearby Storms River Mouth. Here you can hike to the suspension bridge, take part in kayaking or kloofing or simply relax on the beach below the restaurant overlooking the river mouth. Room Description

  • Otter is a group accommodation unit with 8 beds (4 comfortable double bunks) and 2 en-suite bathrooms.The outside door opens onto the garden near the driveway.

  • Dolphin is a private room with an en-suite bathroom. It consists of twin beds and a bunk bed, so the room is ideal for up to 4 persons.It is situated on the ground floor and the outside door opens into the garden.

  • Honey Badger private room sleeps 2-3 persons (queen-size bed plus a single bed). It has an en-suite bathroom and is located in the  main lodge with the external door opening into the garden near the lapa.
  • Loerie is a large private family room with 4 beds (one double bed, one single bed and a double bunk set) and an en-suite bathroom, sleeping up to 5 persons. The external door opens onto the verandah, which overlooks the front garden. 
  • Sunbird is a private room situated in the main lodge and sleeps 2-3 persons. It consists of a queen-sized bed and a single bed as well as an en-suite bathroom. The external door opens into the garden near the lapa.

  • Tsitsikamma is a private self catering room; sleeps up to 5 persons and includes two single beds, a set of bunk beds for 2 persons and a double sleeper couch. The room has a small dining area plus equipped kitchenette and en suite bathroom (shower only). The balcony overlooks beautiful gardens.
